the late Alan Burton Tucker (1958-2022) was a Cleveland Heights-based artist who grew up in Shaker Heights and

comes from a family of artists. He had a B.F.A. in Painting from the Rhode Island School of

Design. His work was exhibited throughout Ohio and Western Pennsylvania, including at:

Ohio University, Chillicothe; Edinboro University, Cleveland Center for Contemporary

Art/MOCA; Lake Erie College; SPACES and the Cleveland Museum of Art May Show, where he

received an Honorable Mention in Painting. he created a full room wall drawing

installation for Slavic Village Development's Rooms to Let event. He had several major

drawing commissions for individual collectors in Chicago, and his work is also included in

individual collections in Cleveland. in 2019 an extensive selection of his large-scale digital

prints were exhibited in “Repetition + Invention”, a 4-person show at the Beachwood Ohio Community

Center Gallery, and he had two other Digital works in the Residents Select exhibit at

Worthington Yards in Cleveland's Warehouse District.
